The Bank of New Zealand Produce Department received on Saturday advic* from its London office as at close of business for the week: "The demand for wether mutton is steady but not sufficient to stand an increase in prices. The market for ewes is dull and little business doing. The market is firmer for heavy weight lambs. The beef market is unchanged. Wethers: Light, 4%d to 6d per lb; heavy, 4d to 4%d. Ewes: 2%d to 3 3-Bd. Lambs: 2's, B%d to B%d; B's, B%d to 9d; 4's, B%d to 894 d; seconds, IVA to 7%d. Ox hinds, 4%d to s%d;'fore% 2%d to 3%' d. Cow hinda, 4yid to 4%d»; fores, 2%d to 2%d." ','.
