WEDDINGS
Aii cveiling wedding, of interest to many Wellington people, was solemnised at the London Missionary Society's Ohureh, Apia, Samoa, recently, whon Melva,only daughter of Mr.' and Mrs. C. H. Ho well," Wellington, was married to Allen, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Thompson, Wellington. The ceremony was-performed by the Rev. H. S. Perkins, and Mr. J. H. A. Woodhead was at the organ. The bride wore a frock of ivory satin and mariotte with a veil of embroidered tulle. She carried a sheath bouquet of1 white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Stella Bunwoodie, wore white crepe do chine, with white georgotto flounces, and she carriod a posy of pink roses. A reception was held afterwards at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Dun'.roodde, ; Malanfou.' Tho house was gaily decorated with coloured lights and greenery. Supper was served in. a room of the Eadio Station, Wd was followed by dancing itema being given by Miss Stella Dunwoodie. Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Harrap, Kilbirnic, gavo a pleasant evening recently for their eldest son (Jim), who is leaving by tho Tahiti for, an extended tour of tho United States and Canada. Competitions, games, and dancing were indulged in, and a very eujoyablo evening was spent,
