Calling at a bank at Liscard, Cheshire, a poorly dressed man said he wished to open an account, but was unable to bring his money without assistance. Accompanying the man to his home, a clerk found ' necessary to obtain a conveyance to kc the money to the bank. It totalled C2oo—all in coppers.
