TEST RESULTS

To-day's Test was only the ninth in the history of the game to be played at Wellington, although this was the 26th Test to be decided in the Dominion. In previous Tests in Wellington New Zealand has had an unbeaten record, sixgames having been won and two drawn. It was against the Anglo-Welsh team of 1908 and the Springboks in 1021 that New Zealand had to be content with honours easy decisions at Wellington, the latter game being probably the most memorable on record largely because of ttia atrocious conditions under which the game was played. That great event of 1921 was the final Test, just as was to-day's game, but in the case of the present tour by the British team the number of, Tests was increased tor the first time in this country to four. It is also worthy of note that to-day's game was New Zealand's 99thTest. Oi the 98 played previously New Zealand had won 74, lost 20, and drawn 4. The record of Tests in New Zealand, is as follows: —
