MEMORIAL SERVICE
LATE MR. JOHN PROUSE
Prior to the funeral this morning a private one, a memorial service for tho late Mr. John Prouse was held in St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral. Many were present, including representatives of all the musical organisations, to pay a last tribute to the deceased. The full choir, of which the late Mr. Prouse had been a member for several years, rendered an appropriate musical service, Mr. Robert Parker being at the organ. At the conclusion of the service, which was conducted by Canon James, and at which the Bishop' of .Wellington, Dr. Sprott, was present, the choirmen acted as pall-bearers when the coffin was ■carried from the church. . , ■
