BRITISH TEAM RETURNS

TEST PREPARATIONS

The British .Rugby football team returned lo Wellington to-day, having completed its engagements in the North Island with the exception of the fourth Test match, to be played at Athletic Park on Saturday. Eu route . from "Hamilton to Wellington the tourists visited the National Park, where the weather did not permit of a great deal in the way of outdoor pastimes. The stay at the Park, however, was enjoyed and the opportunity of resting also" appreciated. No training operations were carried out in "Wellington to-day owing to the wet weather, but. the-i team intends to have v practice .tomorrow morning. All tho members are well, although W. H. Sobey is still suffering from the effects of the. injury- to a knee in the first match of the tour. The New Zealand players, with tho exception of M. F. Nicholls, have assembled at Otaki, but they wiil have only a brief stay there. Final trainingoperations will be carried out in Wellington. It is expected that the Tost fifteen will be announced on Friday.'. On arrival at Otaki the Eugby representatives were met by hockey officials. REFEREE SELECTED. j Mr. F. E.
