MAN DISAPPEARS
SEARCH AT EASTBOURNE
1 Some anxiety is felt for the safety of Eric Hitehcox, of Day's Bay, who has been missing from his home since 8 o'clock yesterday, morning. The hills and bush at the back of Eastbourne are being thoroughly searched by parties under the direction of Messrs. W. Jones and W. Dick.
When last seen Hitchcox, who is a labourer employed at Williams Park, was dressed in working clothes, and was wearing a dark grey overcoat. He is 30 years of age, sft Gin in height, and thick-set. Ho has blue-grey eyes and brown hair, and is slightly bald. Ho was suffering from tho aftereffects of influenza at the time of his disappearance, and it is thought that that might have mado him slightly delirious.
