ECONOMY THB..'NEED (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland; This Day. The Auckland Chamber of Commerca" Council,; after considering the Budget proposals, carried a motion expressing the strongest disapproval of the increased tariffs and taxes and declaring that the interests of tho country demanded serious economies in administration and social services, involving curtailment of expenditure in all departments.
