RESIDENTIAL NUESEEY
A VERY BUSY MONTH
Tho Hon. Dr. Collins presided at a meeting of the executive of the Women's National Beserve Eesidential Nursery, Owen street. The matron's report stated that June had Iteen a very busy month. Mrs. White and Miss Bennett were specially thanked for their help. The treasurer reported the, following donations, for which the committee expressed warmest thanks:' Mrs. M. Eiehelbaum, £2 ss; Lady Beauehamp, £6 6s; Eugby Union, £10; Kilbirnie Branch, £8; Island Bay Circle, £6; Oriental Bay Branch, £12; Lower Hutt Branch, £10; Khandallah Branch, £2 12s 6d. A meeting of the management committee of the Kesidential Nursery was held recently, when there was.a- good attendance. Miss Freeman was elected secretary during Mrs. Alexander Hamilton'B absence., The presidents of the. various branches gave interesting accounts of the replenishing of . the Nurses' Home. A hearty voto of thanks was passed to the Kngby Union for their donation. An offer, was received from the Kelborn-Northland Branch with regard to equipment, which was much appreciated. The committee is. most grateful for gifts in kind from the following: Lower Hntt, Melrose, Bawora, and Berhamporo branches, Mrs. Gfrant, Irvine Bros., Mr. Embury, Mrs. Brown, Anonymous, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. M' Whirter, Miss Sheppard, Mrs. Barclay,. Mrs. fi. Eudkin, and Mrs. Beales.
