JOHNSONVILLE v. SELWYN.
To complete their team for the match 'With JohnsoDville' od the Jbhnsoiivilie ground Selwyn had to call upon several players from the jimior team, and yet Selwyn made. a better showing than in their match with Johnsonville in the first round. The first spoil was evenly contested, each . side being three points up when the time came for the teams to change over. lfullnr kicked a penalty goal for Sehvyji, and Moore scored a try for Jolmsouville. Upon resuming Harris scored a try and put Johnsonville ahead. The Johnsonville ,forwards were playing well, but much of their work was undone by the uncertain play of the back line. .However, the team proved too good for SeTwyn, who were unable to score again. Before the game ended Moore, Turner, and Mason in turn scored tries, none of which was converted, making the final score, Johnsonville 15, Selwyn 3. l
