OLD LANDMARK BURNT
OCCUPANTS' NARROW ESCAPE

CHBISTCHUBCH, This Day.
An old landmark, the Rolleston Hotel, near the junction of the main South line and the Midland line, was destroyed by fire early yesterday morning. The licensee, Mr. E. H. Davies, and his wife and three children escaped narrowly with a few belongings.
