STOCK AWARDS
Attendances at the Winter Show continue satisfactory. Yesterday afternoon it was well patronised considering the weather, and last night there was a large crowd. Gate receipts on Wednesday were £106, au increase of £34 on those, of the corresponding day last year. Visitors yesterday afternoon and evening found much to interest them, and the stock, judging of which was completed yesterday afternoon, were a centre of attraction. The fat bullock ie estimated to weigh about a ton and a half. The leading Jersey cows were highly commended by the judge. The following are additional awards in Jive stock:— CATTLE.
