RADIO FOR HOSPITAL (From Our Own Correspondent.) ■ NELSON, 27th June. At a public meeting presided over by tho Mayor, Mr. Wi J. Moffatt, it was decided to form a committee in an;effort to raise funds for tho installation of radio at the Nelson Hospital similar to the systems in the Wellington, Hawera, and Auckland institutions. The effort is being made as a result of the- active interest of tho Nelson Radio Club, of which Mr. A. Gould is the president. • On a charge of vagrancy, Leonard Buxton Armstrong was to-day sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment by Mr. T. E. Maunsell, S.M. Armstrong had had his fare from Wellington to Nelson paid by. the Labour Department, and was supposed to go on to Golden Downs to troe-planting work, but failed to do so.
