WELLINGTON SCHOOLS
RECONSTRUCTION URGED
Information as to when tho Department of Education intended to proceed with the erection o£ the new Clyde Quay and Tc Aro Schools was sought from the Minister by Mr. P. Frascr (Labour, Wellington Central) in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon, and his question was supported by Messrs. R. A. bright (Reform, Wellington Suburbs) and C. 11. Chapman (Labour, Wellington ' With' regard to the To Aro School, Mr. Frnser said that three successive Ministors oE Education had promised to pro--1 coed with the work, aud the present Minister had promised that a start should be! made on the site of the old Terrace Prison i before the end of 1929. " The question was placed on the Order Paper.
