SIMON REPORT FORECAST
LONDON, 20th June.
llecommendations of-a far-reaching character arc anticipated in the Simon Commission's second report, which will bo published on 24th June. The recommendations include, according to the "Daily Mail," the separation of Burma from India, with a new system of government for Burma.
The roport will also suggest a new provincial Government for tho NorthWest Frontier Province, which is at present governed by a Commissioner under the Government of India.
It will also advocate closer co-opera-tion between the Indian princes and the Government, and make suggestions enabling the princes to become part, should they so desire, of the all-India Federation. \
The "Mail" adds that the Commissioners will also emphasise the vital necessity for the retention of British troops for the defence of tho frontiers and tTio maintenance of internal order.
