(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, This Day. The South Canterbury Jockey Club's Winter Meeting concluded to-day under favourable weather conditions. The track was in good condition. There was a good attendance, but it was considerably affected by the attraction of the football Test. Results:—
Pukaki Hurdles, of 130 soys., one and a half miles.—3 Troilus, 9.11, 1; 3 Lancer, 10.11, 2; 6 Antrim Boy, 10.12, 3. All started. Won by two lengths Time, 2min 45 l-ssec.
Pareora Handicap, of 150 soys; seven furlongs.—2 Smithereens, 9.7, 1; 3 Glenrowan, 9.11, 2; 4 Taboo, 10.13, 3. Scratched: Rascal, Mount Boa. Won by two lengths. Time, Imin 28 l-ssee.
Princo of Wales Handicap, of 200 soys; one mile and 35 yaids.—l Eanelagh, 9.8, 1; 3 Haze, 9.0, 2; 4 Eoyal Mint, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Glenrowan, Smithereens, Arch Arrow. Won by two lengths. Time, Imin 46sec. Beaconsiield Hack Handicap, of 130 soys; one mile and 35 yards.—s Hounslow, 9.9, 1; 1 Meitui, 9.2, 2; 2 Fortalice, 9.13, 3. Scratched: The Dove. Won by a length. Time, Imin 44 2-5 sec.
