SIX CHARGES TO ANSWER

NEW" PLYMOUTH, 20th June.
Six charges under tho Bankruptcy Act were preferred against Bert Thomas, who was brought back from Sydney recently -under escort. It is alleged that following his adjudication as bankrupt, ho left the country with the proceeds of the sale of a farm with intent to defraud creditors, that ho did not disclose to "-ho Assignee all his assets, and that he put ono of his creditors to unnecessary cxpenso by frivolous and vexatious defence in a Court action to recover £210. Hearing lusted all day, and was adjourned uncompleted until Bth July.
