WRESTLERS ARRIVE
CONTRACT TO WELLINGTON
TOM ALLEY'S TITLE
■ (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") ■■■■■ AUCKLAND, This Day. . Three professional wrestlers, including, Tom Alley, who made many friends in Auckland, last season, arrived by the Aorangi from Vancouver last night. Alley, according to his "story, is now entitled; to stylo himself light heavyweight champion of the world. Apart from winning the light-heavy, title. Alley had; a match almost every week, appearing in most of the big cities along the Pacific coast. In eighteen matches he lost but three decisions. The men whp beat Mr*l wore Bob Kruse, Dr. Sarp'olis, and Ed. ("Strangler") Lewis, all heavyweights. Alley has come out under contract to the Wellington Wrestling Association, although he expects to appear in Auckland, where ho will be for the next few days. .. .'..'.'.. A fellow-countryman of Fiery John Kilonis, .George Kotsonaros, also arrived by the Aorangi. He is on his way to Sydney Tinder contract to Stadiums, Ltd (Australia). Kotsonaros has been in the game for eighteen years, sixteen as professional. In the course of his career he haa had in the vicinity of 1600 matches. . Amongst the most xamous men. he lias met are Stanislaus Zybszko, whom ,he defeated; Joe Stretcher, whom he drew with after two hours on the mat; and Strangler Lewis. A third wrestler on the Aorangi was Tom Hay, who has also come under contract to the Wellington Association. B-ay, who is 36 yeaTS old, is an American, and has been in the game for 15 years. Until recently he was chief instructor at Farmer Burns School of Wrestling. - . ■
