INTENSE ELECTION CAMPAIGN

SYDNEY, 13th June,

Nominations closed to-day for 15 seats on tho Sydney City Council, which for the past two yeai's.has boen administered by a Civic Commission. The council now is being restored.

The electoral boundaries have been altered, and an intense fight is prococding between anti-Labour and Labour candidates. Porty-two nominations have been received for 15 seats. Polling will tako place next Wednesday.
