On its capital of £8,070,000, the Cunard Steamship Company earned a net profit of £809,639 in 1929. The profit in 1928 was £550,478. This company owus steamers and shipping investments valued at £8,500,000, and it holds £7,500,000 worth of shares .in other companies.
