SUPPORT FOR MR. FORBES {By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHTJRCH, sth June. The Canterbury Chamber of Commerce to-night carried unanimously the following resolution:— "That the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce heatily congratulates the Hon. G-. \Y. Forbet on his appointment s.s Prime Minister, and welcomes his announcement that every effort will be BKjle to obtain the greatest possible economy in Government administration, that that non-essential State services will be eliminated, or at least severely curtailed, as the necessity for this policy has been persistently stressed by this chamber."
