NAPIER SOUP KITCHEN
MAYOR SAYS PREMATURE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) • NAPIER. 6th June. The Mayor of Napier (Mr. J. Vigor Brown) statos that, as a result of personal investigations, he is convinced that tho opening of the soup kitchen in Napier by tho Salvation Army is premature in view of the fact that the Hospital Board is doing all that is necessary in the way of charitable aid for needy unemployed, both local and itinerant.
