A further remand until Wednesday was
grauted in the case of John Edward Fitzgerald, a motor salesman, aged 47, charged with being drunk while in charge of a motor-car. :
John Gabriel Heron, a carpenter, aged 27, for being in arrears on a maintenance order made for the support of his wife and child, was sentenced to 'two months' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended as long as he pays £1 15s a week. Failure to close his shop at 9 p.m. cost William Jenkins £1 and Court costs, 10s.
Charged with being found on licensed premises after hours, Harry Barnett was lined £2. .'
