FATE OF GOVERNMENT DEFEAT NOT NOW LIKELY LONDON, 28th May. A scries of meetings were held in the House of Commons as a preliminary to to-day's division on unemployment. The Government's defeat is now considered to bo unlikely. Fifteen members of the Labour Party who did not support the Government last week, after prolonged discussion decided to await the Ministerial statement before choosing their line of action.
