POLICE RAID IN NEW YORK

When the police arrived someone threw a purse out of a window. The purse contained 21,000 dollars in banknotes, which fluttered in tho wind. The detectives later traced O'Connor's safety deposit bos. It contained £200,000 value in precious stones and cash, one emerald ring being valued at £4000, and a pearl necklace is appraised at £3000. Four valises were full of some of the finest jewels in tho country.
