ACADEMY EXHIBITION.
Thu autumn exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts, now open in the Whitraore street Gallery, has attracted an unusually large number of visitors since the opening ceremony last Friday, and there is a continued demand for art union tickets. The following additional works have found purchasers: "May Sunshine," . "Hughie's Bluff," and "In the Puhi Valley," by A.' F. Nicoll; "Cabbage Trees," by Beatrice Seddou; "Mana from the Mainland," by N. Welch; "The Busy Bee," by N. Messenger; "The Pine-clad Ridge" and "The Edge of the Bush," by Marcus King; "Pitcaithleys," by F. R. Alexander; "The Blue. Bay," by Sydney Higgs; "Audierne, Brittany" and "Street Stall, Audierne," by Mrs. A. Arery. The exhibition will close on Saturday, 7th' June, with the drawing of thu art union.
