Despite the arrest of Peter Kuerten, Dusseldorf again is in a state of panic, due to the discovery this afternoon of the strangled body -of a twelve-year-old girl on the doorstep of a house in the centre of the city,.
The police attempted to allay the panic with the statemtsnt that the child was accidentally strangled, but a doctor states there are maniial strangulation, marks on the neck. TAhe people refuse to be calmed, ana aeei'are this is the real vampire'b retort .to Kuerten's boast that he is the fiemd.
