WIFE SUES HUSBAND

LONDON, 22nd May

The wife of Dr. Edleston sued her husband for damages for the loss of an eye in a motor accident in which they were involved buj months before their marriage, he being the driver. The doctor's counsel claimed that the suit was really against an insurance! company, and that since the parties had J>een happily married the wife was debarred from suing her husband. Mr. Justice M'Cardie reserved judgment.
