: PALMERSTON N., This Day. A meeting of the Unemployment Cpininitteo passed a motion that tho committee in endeavouring to assist the Government to alleviate the unemployment- situation considers that there is no1 justification for withholding from it any information which the Labour Department has regarding the unemployed. The resolution urges upon the Minister the necessity of giving tho committee the fullest access to all local records of the Labour Department in respect to unemployment.
