KUERTEN'S CONFESSION

POLICE PROVE GUILT

DUSSELDORF, 27th Slay. A further examination of the accused, Peter Kuerten, emphasises his bestial character. He said to a correspondent: "The sooner they finish .me, the better." The policr. announco that, apart from his ..confession, they.have proved him guilty of six murders and four attempts. Kuerten declares that ifl he had not been arrested, he would have committed a new murder shortly, as already ho was feeling the blood lust surging lip, and he had to take another life or bust. He declares that when aged only sixteen he strangled a girl in a wood.' Eighteen months later he strangled a nine-year-old boy.

Kuerten was re-identified by girls attacked. Ho recognised and talked to all of them.
