HEAVY DROP IN DOMINION RETURNS
(Received 27th May, 10.50 a.m.) ■ LONDON, 20th May. Total catalogues offered at the wool sales to-day amounted to SOS 7 bales, including 1942 New Zealand. About 2650 bales were sold. There was a small offering of greasy merinos and a good selection of New Zealand wools. Keen general competition prevailed, but prices were unchanged. Sales were:—New Zealand, Glen Ada, scoured combing 26ted, scoured Ijalfbred combing 24d, best greasy, crossbred 14/icl. Slipes. super half bred combing,' I3 1/Sd; Pareora half bred lambs, 13% d: Greasy crossbreds, Puruatanga, 12d. to Una; WMK over SV, 12% d to 12% d. Haltbred, Hakataiamea, 14% dto 14% d. ,
