MUSIC COMPANY PASSES DIVIDEND.
The well-known Sydney music warehouse company, Nicholson and Co., Ltd., for the year ended 31st March, shows a net profit of £7746, a fall of £8403 m twelve months, and of £13,936 in two years. The directors regret that the financial stringency and the resulting commercial depression, have affected the company. They are pursuing a cautious policy, which, they claim, will not only protect shareholders' interests, but will enable the utmost to be gained directly trade revives. . .. '
