DRUNKEN DRIVERS
LICENCE'S -TO BE CANCELLED
(By Telegi-ph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. When two Maoris appeared before him this morning, Mr. Harper, S.M., issued a warning that licences would be cancelled in nil cases of intoxicated drivers. Sidney Eparaiina, aged 41, who collided with another car, was fined £5, and his licence was cancelled for six months. Iriapa Renapa, previously convicted in December, 1928, for a similar offence, was fined £10, and his licence cancelled for eighteen months.
