LONDON, 25th May.

Empire Day was celebrated in London with special enthusiasm on account of Miss Amy Johnson's success. Crowds flocked to Hyde Park, where community singing was organised, and the conductor, Jtfr. Gibson Young, asked visitors from the Dominions to flourish their programmes. An astonishing number were present.

A pageant of Empire followed, with a service conducted by Archbishop Lang. Prince George reviewed 6000 or 7000 naval and military cadets.
