The Selwyn-Porirtia game was very ragK ed in the first spell, and when half-time sounded there .was no score. In the second lrilf howeyer, Selwyu's back line was to the fore, and play was mostly in Selwyn's favour From a forward rush Mqoney scored"and opened Selwyn's account. Leg-o-at's kick hit -the upright. 3-0. , Selwyn continue'!, to attack, and Lesgat secured, and after side-stepping the opposition he •'potted" a s*reat goal. 7-0. Later'Biljin"s followed up and was rewarded with a "try The kick was disallowed. 10-0. Selwyn again pressed, and Ward touched down, Leggat converting. 15-0. Just before time the Selwyn backs again moved effectively and Hancock scored, Leggat converting. The game ended: Selwyn 20- Porirua 0. Mr. D. Caicmai controlled the game.- - ■ * '
