By superior play in their forward' division Old Boys had little difficulty in scoring a decisive victory over Training College at Kelburn Park. _ The latter, however, wore unEortuuate in lacking a full puck, but, with three, men short, they put up a creditable perrformanc'e. A series of scrummages in College territory resulted in Hand picking up to score for Old Boys. W. Hawker failed to convert. 3-0 Further loose forward play allowed Binning to make an opening from which Blakeley dashed across and scored. S. Hawker missed with the kick. 6-0. A Ion" punt downfiekl by Ames once more set "the White pack in motion, and Blakeley crossed again. S. Hawker's kick went wide. 9-0. Training College then attacked, and following up a beautiful kick, Leitch raced across and scored. Espiner failed to convert. Half-time sounded. 9-3. Prom a scrum after the resumption Wixon, combining well with Sadler, broke through and registered another try for Old Boys. W. Hawker converted. 14-3. Sparkling combination by the White backs paved the way for Dustin to score a brilliant try W. Hawker converted. The game elided: Old Boys 19, Training ColMr.'C.T. Andrew was the referee.
