CHIEF EXPORTING COUNTRIES.
A study of the world's trade in recent years indicates that Europe's share in the world's total increased from 52.2 per cent, in 1925 to 53.3 per cent, in 1928. This slight expansion is accounted for by the greater volume of Germany's trade, which in 1925 was 8.1 per cent, of the world's total and in 1928 had risen to 9.6 per cent. In the following table are shown per- j centages of total world trade in manufactured goods, illustrating the trend of the export of manufactured goods from the principal countries:— Country. 1913. 1925. 1928.
