PASSED OVER BIMA

HEADING FOR ATAMBOEA

WELTEVEEDEN, 22nd May. It is reported that Miss Johnson passed over Bima at 11.30 a.m. (Bima time), heading for Atamboea.

■ A Sydney message yesterday stated that Amalgamated Wireless, Ltd., received advice that Miss Johnson was to fly straight to Atamboea, but if en route it appeared that the motor was not running as smoothly as she expected she would land at Bima.

The distance between Bima and Atamboea is about 300 miles, and all being well Miss Johnson should have landed at Atamboea between 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock in the afternoon of yesterday. From Surabaya to At■ainboea the distance woula be between 500 and 600 miles.
