SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

-Mr. J. \V. Jordan's concert lor seafarers ut tho -Sailors' Friend Society last night was an excellent entertainment. The performers wore: Mrs. Power, Miss Cunningham, and Messrs. Jordan, F. J. Mitchell, J. Power, R. Bowman, L. Power, F. Ormrod, Sherwood. The Boys' Institute Band, under Bandmaster Iremonger, played several items. Supper was provided by Mrs. J. W. Jordan, assisted by members of the institute. Mr. J. Moore (missioner) led tho competitions. Prizes came from Mrs. G. Hooper and went to the men in port.
