CHKISTCHUKCH, 20th May.
The New Zealand Hockey Association decided to-night to allow Dannevirke to,remain a riiinor association.
It was decided to invite an Indian Army team to tour New Zealand, arriving in New Zealand in May, ,1931 o. 1932, and remaining for eight weeks.
The Otago and Wellington Associations forwarded challenges for the New Zealand Challenge Shield. Otago asked for the first match against Canterbury, the present holders. The first match was allotted to- OtagO/.-to be played not later than 2SH\ June...
, Challenges for1 the Hordori Cup were received from rther Wanga'nui, Bush Union, and Taranaki Associations, ■Wanganui asking for the first match with Dannevirke, the holders, Matches Were allotted'as follow: Wanganui v. jjannevdrke, not later than 28th June; Bush v. the winners, not; later that 19th July; Taranaki ,v.- the winners, on a date to be arranged. .
Nelson was granted the control of tlio inter-Island match.
