INCIDENCE OF CANCER
AUCKLAND. INVESTIGATION
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. Cancer patients in the Auckland Hospital district have proved valuable during the past few months, states the annual report of the medical superintendent (Dr. C. E. Maguire). During the year a committee was olocted by the honorary visiting medical staff to inveatigtae the incidence of cancer, and this committee has had a busy time. It is finding that the work entailed is considerable, and in order to facilitate the investigation of cases it has decided to carry on the -work with half the committee at a time and hold two sittings a, week. One result of the committee's work is to co-ordinate and standardise treatment, and Dr. Maguiro considers that tho statistics compiled will bo of great help in combating the scourge.
