THE WRONG BODY
The painful experience of the members of a family who, when taking a farewell glance at a body which they believed to be that of their mother, found it to be that of someone else, 13 reported from Mortomley, a village near Sheffield, states the "Manchester Guardian." The dead woman was Mrs. Bennett, wife of Mr. J. Bennett, of Council Houses, Mortomley, who has a family. of eight children. When the family were looking for the last time at what they thought was tho body of their mother they discovered that a different corpse had been brought. •Telegrams were sent to stop the funeral, coaches, which, however, had already set out, and mourners had begun to assemble.
