GOING TO CHINA
SUBMARINE FLOTILLA

The departure for China on 24 th May of British O class submarines with the mothcrship Medway, forming the nucleus of the Fifth Submarine. Flotilla, will be an important naval occasion, says the "Observer." From the Medway downward every keel will be now, while the flotilla .will be the most powerful force of submarines under the "White. Ensign, when it is at full strength, which-will be when it is joined by the still newer P boats, generally resembling tho O. class, but 24 knots faster on the surface. When based at Hong Kong both oflicers and crews will live comfortably aboard tho Medway, which is more like a liner than any other-naval vessel.
