PRICE OF EGGS.
Wellington -wholesale prices of. eggs are 3s per dozen first grade, 2s 9d second, 2s Od pullets. Although supplies are reported short sales have been checked by current prices. Christehurch prices on Saturday were as follow: —The Canterbury Co-opera-tive Poultry1 Producers: First grade hen and duck eggs, 2s 7d; second grade hen eggs, 2s 5%d; pullets, 2s Id. Macfarlane and Co. report:--Hen eggs, first grade, 2s 7d to 2s Sd; second grade, 2s 3d. to 2s sd; duck eggs, 2s 4d.
