Police cases in the Magistrate's Court to-day were dealt with by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M. Three first-offending inebriates who had spent the night in the cells were convicted and discharged. Charged with unlawfully converting to his ,own use a motor-car valued at £200, James William Brodrick, aged 35, was remanded, on the application of Senior Sergeant Dempsey, until Friday next. . John Bernard M'Donald, a labourer, aged 36, and Albert James Olsen, a slaughterman, aged 29, were remanded until Wednesday next on charges of being found unlawfully on the Grand Opera Hquse premises and attempting to- break and enter the counting house of J. G. Williamson, Ltd., with intent to commit a crime. ,
