LITTLE PEOPLE
Why, I am so glad that you all liked our Autumn Child so well. But I think that here and now and straight away I had., better answer all these " 'satiable curiosity" questions that so many of you have been asking. Yes, the Birthday Page IS a fortnight from to-day; but no, it isn't for your birthday, and it isn't for mine. It's the Birthday of our Ring, my. elves—three years old this month. And some time the week after all our scrapbooks go to the wee sick people in the Children's Ward of the Hospital. You'll know exactly when and how and-where on the Birthday itself. But I want something besides scrapbooks for that Page. I want snapshots of you—black-and-white, clear ones . . . small ones . . sent in with your very next letters. You see, every possible elf must be in the Birthday Page . . . so see if you have your own photograph to spare. - . . And just one other thing. Some of the new members are sending in letters without their proper names and addresses. Write under a pen-name and fairy address if you want to,, elves—but you MUST put in your real ones as well, just for= me to see. Else I'm afraid your letters can't be answered. The best of happy hours to you, all these holidays," little people. •_ser —— ; ■ —___—— : ■
