TWO CANTERBURY CHAIRS
The committee of the. Senate of the New Zealand University ' appointed to consider the question of establishing Chairs of Agriculture. At Canterbury Agricultural College recommended to tlio Senate yesterday as follow: —(1) That the Senate approve of the foundation of two Chairs at'the Cnntorbiiry Agricultural College, (a) agriculture, (b) agricultural botany;1'(2) '*' the Chairs referred to in (1) bo founded the Senate will appvov.o of tiro appointment of the following as professor's of the University: (a) H. B. Alexander, A.8.C.5c.1., (b) P. W.'Hilgendorf, M.A., D.Sc, F.N.Z.lnst. . The committee's recommendation was adopted by the Senate.
