When Miss Amy Johnson arrives at Darwin she will have an escort of several aeroplanes, chiefly from th_e Queensland Air ■ Service, in order that she shall be exposed to no risks over the treacherous route from Darwin to ■Loiigreach. ' The women's sports organisations in New, South Wales and Victoria are awaiting Miss. Jol/.soii's arrival with particular interest,, and intend giving her a fitting welcome. She is certain to be overwhelmed with hospitality.
