The 'much-discussed question as to whether A. E. Cooke, the well-known All Ulack five-eighth, is coming to play^ in Wellington is a question no longer "according to Mr. A. Griffiths, a member of the Management Committee'■ of . the Wellington Rugby Union. At the weekly meeting of the committee last night, Mr. Griffiths stated definitely that Cooke was coming to Wellington, and that ho would be playing for Hutt next week. '■' The matter of eligibility was then raised, and the chairman (Mr. ,J. Prendeville) said that Cooke would be able to play m cub matches afte- being resident in the. district for seven days. Before ho could play in representative matches, however, he would je' required to have been resident twenty-one days, and he would consequently not be available to play tor Wellington against the British team on 3rd June.. _■
