THEATRE FIREMEN
(To tho Editor.) . ! Sir, —In reference to . the question of j theatre . firemen I have no" intention of J entering into a Press controversy with Mr. Hanton. Even if the whole question at issue were not at present sub judice it would be useless and a waste of time. I only wrote in the first place to correct a wrong impression which the Press report of Mr. Hanton's statements to the Bylaws Committee of the City Council might have created. As I have now made the necessary correction in the report of my statements, surely Mr. Hanton can afford to accept it and so leave it at that.—l am, etc., J. ROBERTSON, ■ Dominion Secretary, N.Z. Motion Picture Exhibitors' Association.
